European Group of Risk and Insurance Economists (EGRIE) and GRIR-EGRIE Colloquium "Transformative Challenges in Agricultural Insurance"

The 53rd Seminar of the European Group of Risk and Insurance Economists (EGRIE) will take place at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme en Bretagne in Rennes (France) on September 20 – 23, 2026. Christoph Heinzel is the local organizer.
On the occasion of the seminar, Mike Hoy will deliver the 38th Geneva Risk Economics Lecture.
The scientific program committee for this meeting is comprised of Andreas Richter (chair), Loïc Berger and Franca Glenzer.
Additionally, this year a special colloquium on “Transformative Challenges in Agricultural Insurance”, associated with a special issue of the Geneva Risk and Insurance Review (GRIR), will be held on September, 23, 2026 following the seminar. Attendance at the colloquium will be free of charge for presenters and EGRIE participants.
